Welcome to Lao Pride.

I don't have Lao font on the computer so I wrote it on paper and scanned it for you.

"Koy huck jaow" means "I love you".

Why don't you just be yourself and tell her that in English? If she doesn't understand English and there is a language barrier then I don't think your relationship will work well.

Are you sure? you said:" You love me" I don't believe it.
If you do " Koil Kor Huck Chao Muae Karn" " Lor Koil Dair Der"

Lao language is easy to learn not like English.

Adm, I knew you had correcting me on the word "many" instead of "some". I understood, LOUND & CLEAR.
exp: adj :"few,some,many,more,most,alot ....etc"
            2 to 3  ( I prefer to use 'few')
3 or more ( I prefer to use 'some')
100 or more ( I prefer to use 'many')
1000 or more ( I prefer to use 'alot')
Correct me if I am wrong. ::) 8-) :D :) :-* :-*

I love everybody, well almost.

There is no precise word to use because it depends how many numbers you are dealing with.

For instance, if there's 3 million people in a town and 100 of those people went shopping today, would you say that "many" people went shopping today?

This site is one man shown( woman ).

To TT,
Best way for you to do is, just ask any lao ppl you had known. They can help you.

The image format is the best I can do for you since I don't have Lao font.

We also discourage using Lao language and other foreign languages on our forum because other readers may not be able to understand what the writer is saying.

Jusy follow the advice from WantLaosToBeIndependence and I'm sure that some Lao people can help you.

Kien Toe Lao Kar Bor Pen, Pane Nun Var Pen Kon Lao.

Koy " must have ( Mai Teo) " Kor Or Yor (and) Mai Toe (on top)

Why are you staring at me like that, don't get mad at me.
I just trying to correcting your writting in Lao. It's incorrected.

Its sound like " Koil" not "koy" you have to put " Mai Toe " on top.

Right or Wrong........Nair Nair Nair... Tee Phra Tee Chuea

TT,

Didn't mean to be rude or anything, but how long have you known this girl? Lao girl she is not going to believe you, if you just know her and try to tell her that, you love her.  It takes more then words "I love you". Good luck though........

TT,

I admire your efforts in trying to impress this Laotian woman/girl?
1 question - how old is she? If she is young or was not born in Laos AND did not go to school, chances are she probably can't even read it!!  Just a thought?

Like "INDEPENDENCE" said..."Baby I love you" would be suffice!

Good luck bro!

Weren't you born there though? It's actually very easy, probably one of the easiest languages to write in all of the Indochina area. Right now I'm learning Khmer and I can write a bit but it's way more difficult than Lao.
