Why do they have to walk with the bare feet?
Monks in the US they tend to drive their own cars.

It's part of the religion. Monks in Laos can't drive.

The best place to observe morning alms is Luangprabang. It is the most spiritual scene you'll ever get. I hope to be back there soon, I miss Laos:-)
