Judy Garland as Dorothy wore a separate under dress slip to give her gingham dress some extra volume in The Wizard of Oz.

Her white slip was very noticeable in the tornado scenes as her dress blows up by the wind, and on a number of occasions in the color Oz scenes when she jumps and skips on the Yellow Brick Road.

Some people believe that "nice" girls never let their slips show, while others believe it's common in the old days to see girls dance and extend a leg in the air and revealing their slips.

Yes, hell is awaiting you.

You probably need to have an eye examination.

The under dress slip is separate to her gingham dress and white blouse, and hasn't survived to this day.
