Dorothy must have been 17 yrs old and the Scarecrow was 35 when she got some for the first time. Perhaps the Scarecrow was the first known pedophilia of all history of pedophilia?

Dorothy and the Scarecrow actually fell in love.

The romance scene that was suppose to take place was cut from the final film, whether this is to keep it shorter or the relationship was considered inappropriate.

But yeah interestingly there was suppose to be a romance between Dorothy and the Scarecrow, that's why when she leaves Oz, she tells the Scarecrow, "I think I'll miss you most of all."
