A young boy smashes ice block into smaller pieces which is used to keep food and drinks cold at a local market in Vientiane.

one cannot but notice the complete lack of hygienic precautions...... if such ice is indeed used to cool drinks as the admin posted, good luck battling the bacterial infections that may result...

Tewada, I'm sorry you misunderstand. These types of ice are not actually put "into" drinks for human consumption, they are only used in ice box, esky and coolers.
