in all my traveling, i have never seen an airline ground crew come out to wave us farewell.... very nice lao air people. thank you for a nice experience

That's the nature of Lao people. We are different, very unique to the rest of the world.

Haha, wow! Thats completely different from what you see in the USA. Usually I see black people shouting at each other, dragging their feet, and looking like they hate their job.

Because they were not as busy as workers in USA airports. I just came back from Laos and the workers at Seattle airport as soon as one airplane left they jumped right on to other airplane.  I think they would be all fired if they just standing there and wave their hands. I know it's nice, but holly cow how often airplanes land in VTE airport. Maybe every two hours that is my guess cause I don't work there.  Anyone knows?   ;D

Those guys seem to have alot of time on their hands in Laos.

Planes depart and arrive often in Vientiane because it's an international airport, but obviously not as busy as Seattle. There are planes to and from other regions of Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Cambodia.

I came and left Laos by plane, never see that, they probably waving to their boss, not you.
Or you have bad such a mess there and they're so happy to see you go.
