Laos is already a democracy, according to our official motto anyway.

Which is "Peace, Independence, Democracy, Unity and Prosperity".

Yes there is peace, prosperity and stability in Laos. In the near future. I'm hoping for real democracy, and multi political system in Laos, so Lao people can vote for their own government, and leader. I want Laos to become wealthy, and develops like Singapore or Japan one day. Not a Vietnam colonies.

Laos is not an independent country yet. Our great country is still under foreigner power control. Sad but true.

I agree with you, but our official motto states that we are independent.

Yes at least we has our own country. Laos is an independent country, but everybody know our government is still under Vietnam control since 1975. That explained why our country is still the least developing nation.

Laos government is doing a great jobs trying to end poverty, and open up the country to foreign investment. Keep up he good work LPDR, and please don't let Vietnam take over Laos.

Too late mate, you can compare Vietnam with a pit bull terrier (once it bites never let go), French was a lesser evil and you guys kick them out.
