Everybody needs one (or two). Mun jum-pen. Over here, kids as young as six have already acquired a large directory.

Surely you have one too, don't you?

I don't have one, and I try to avoid using it due to the strong radiation close to the brain.

Yes, lots of new technology keeps coming out in today's fast-paced world.

So when you get the latest version of the I-phone, what do you do with your old version?

Thats true if you hold it close to your ears you can get some kind of cancer because of radiation. But you know people not suppose to drink or smoke either but they still do. I mostly use iPhone 4 for texting and serve Internet. It's does cost too much $200 and you have to pay $60 monthly for the services.

I'm happy with my not so smart Samsung cell phone. My sister Nancy keeps hers on speaker and talks into it like most people use a handheld radio. Sort of in front of her face, but farther away. I don't use mine enough to scramble my DNA. (I hope. 555)

If you used Iphone 4 you'll never want to use any other phone with button again. Its very nice.

It depends. Maybe standard mobile phones with buttons are more convenient for the older generation due to its simplicity.

Iphones will attract youths and those who like to use the internet.

Are mobile phones the only way to access the internet?

Not everyone is deprived as our beloved Laos "nong sao". If it is neccesary (jum-pen) then people will buy it! It's not just for the "internet" now. Most phones come equiped with alot of features. I think it's time you got one. It could change your life.

Most phone come with internet, but I think Iphone is the best and more convenient. I used mine for everything pay bills, internet, watch movie, youtube, listen to music, play game. Its nice to have when you are bore. Now many phone company are making smartphone and trying to catch up with Iphone.

iPad 2 is nice but cost $500. I need to put extra hour at work for that. But I want iPhone 5 more.

I'm keeping it for a back up. Just in case I lost my phone. I just got iPhone 4 couple of month ago and I really like it. I think it's better, faster then 3GS plus battery last 40% longer. iPhone 4 or 5 is $600 without 2 year contract. Maybe iPhone 5 will have 4G software.

Admin et all, you guys are so right, kids these days don't know anything about cell phones and how to use them. That is why I'm developing a course on it and I hope it will be a part of the new school curriculum next fall. The program will be called "Lao n Proud on the Phone". The course will be structured to focus on 3 areas of study; silent mode, hands free, and airplane mode. There will also be an advanced course 'multitask texting' but this will only be for advanced users that want to make use of their phones voice command features which is a hot market right now. Unfortunately my phone still doesn't recognize 'dum mak houng' so I had to resort to my GPS to help me find the nearest store that sold papaya.
