Title: This is Strange
Post by William Kelley on 27th Apr, 2011 at 7:46am
Just out of curiosity, I was clicking on a few links from this forum. When I clicked on a post on the Lao Friends site, the Wizard of Oz music started playing. Miss Admin, this has your MO (modus operandi) written all over it.

The link: http://www.laofriends.com/messages/3979.html

;D ;D ;D

What is even more amusing is when I clicked on the Ban List on the above site. Listen for yourself.

This is HER website. There is no 'WE'. She only uses the plural when speaking as the administartor to sound professional. But I don't mind. This site is a good pastime. :)

Admins is very intelligent. For someone living in Laos her English skilled is above average. In the U.S maybe she's qualify to be an FBI agent. They look for someone who's bright and above average. Lard Dip you still flirting with her.
;) :D ;D :D ::)

Lao Friends isn't my website, but it's part of the network of Lao websites. I suggested them play The Wizard of Oz music.

If I am intelligent, I would be earning $2,000 and not $200 a month.

AREN'T you intelligent? You type intelligent enough. By the way, how old were you when you started taking English classes?

About the same age when you started.

I learnt most of my English outside of class with private lessons during my childhood, because my parents had a bit of money.

I started at 4 years old in a kindergarten. And you?

How long did you study for? Did you have to sit any tests/exams?

What's easier: Learning Lao or English? Do they use the same methods when teaching literacy? Is the first lesson sounding out the characters?

Yes, I had to sit exams. Maybe Lao is easier, I'm still a little rusty with English but I guess it's above average for Lao standards.

Are you a student of Old Man??? (Listen to me now, I sound like my evil nemesis.) Sorry Admin, don't answer if it is personal.

Ever fail a test? I'm sure we all have, right?

Are ALL your siblings savvy in English? Or is it just you?

William, I don't think so. Old man resides outside of Vientiane.

Larb Dip, Everybody has failed a test. My mother used to have a very good understanding level of English and French in her younger days. She used to type documents in English, with typewriters at an American-operated office in Vientiane. My grandfather knew six languages.

You mean your grandpa MASTERED (was fluent and literate in) 6 languages? Or do you mean he only 'knew' 6 languages?

By the way, what languages? They're not the tongues of the Hill Tribes, are they?

He could speak and understand six languages. Lao, Thai, English, French, Vietnamese and Russian.

Maybe he could understand some Hmong language as well.

You weren't kidding when you classed yourself as 'HI-SO!'. ;)

Of course. Of course. Of course. Aren't they all?

What was his rank? Obviously he had a position of command.
It sounds like your kin ride with the Pathet Lao. Why do you have to lie?

How long have you resided in the city? You dwelled there all your life?

I have Keo, she has connections also, except I don't plan on getting into trouble. I am a pretty laid back person.

I'm not sure about Laos, but maybe. Doesn't matter what part of the world you live. You can hired people to do anything  even murder. In Thailand I know for a fact they has at least 2,000 hitman for hire. It was on the news.
:)

How much do they charge? I would prefer a Lao nuckleng over Thai.

Do they do kidnappings as well?
I think we all know who I have in mind, right? ;D

Hitman will do whatever you want. I think you can hired them to take someone out for $1,000-$2,000 = 30,000-60,000 baht. It all the depend on who you want to take out. They has article about it a while back in Bangkokpost.
:)

Oh no! I better learn to blend in fast once I get off the plane in Laos. There might be a contract for me. Oh well, Keo would become a rich woman. Still, she would lose her loving farang. Bad Larb. BAD!
