It is a Lao song I'm sure, it's very nice but I can't find out what song it is.

I don't know because I left after a few seconds in the video.

We don't condone animal cruelty on Lao Pride.

I wasn't asking about the animals, just the song they were playing in the background, it's a Mor Lam song. I didn't say I support animal cruelty.

Anway, I don't see whats wrong with what they're doing, its a tradition of the Lao teng people, they are going to eat the buffalo afterwards anyway, they arent throwing it away. Maybe the meat you bought in the market suffered as well, and you still bought it.

I didn't listen to any song because like I said, I closed it pretty quickly. The cruel nature of the content is a distraction to any song.

If you don't see anything wrong with it then you obviously don't consider that to be animal cruelty. Karma will come back and bite these idiots, they will see it while they are still alive and when they are dead.

I eat meat but I didn't see what they did. Maybe it was quick kill and the animal wasn't totured and didn't suffer.

Well yes it's a bit cruel but maybe someone could just minimize the video and only listen to the audio, or open a new tab in their browser and help identify the song.

I know Buddhism is against killing living things but those people aren't even Buddhists if you know they practice animism.

Buddhists can kill living things, otherwise we would all be vegetarians if we couldn't kill animals.

Killing in a humane way is one thing, and killing with the intention of making the animal suffer and personal satisfaction is another thing.

Just because they do not follow the Buddha does not mean they are exempted from the law of Karma. Many ancient saints have already demonstrated why animal and human sacrifice does not appease the gods and in fact this incorrect notion actually angers the gods because of the unnecessary suffering inflicted upon other sentient beings.
