Lao people love to party and have fun. Actually, I am thinking every major large Lao communities ( Temples ) across the USA like to have piece of the actions like raising money for their pockets. If every communities celebrate on the same date then they won't get as much so they organized as so. I could be wrong. This is my 2 cents.
