Xipsongpanna that's where Tai = Lao, Shan, Tai Lue came from. Same culture, language as Lao. Land in Xipsongpanna is fertile and can grow rice, fruits all year long.

From my history books, China had been wery weak from 1840 to 1950. I can not see why China ticked them away?
I think they were drawn away by their weird idea of being their people's king. That is why Cam, Laso, still have kings living outside of their own kingdom.
