I think lahpet is more of a Burmese thing but I am by NO MEANS a SE Asia expert...

We here drink femented tea called Pu Er tea.

The only time I drank Pu Erh tea in Lao was at a Chinese restaurant and only after first inquiring. I never saw it anywhere else. Kiss

I been to Lao many many times and I never had a chance to taste it. I only went to villages and mountains. Next time, I will go to city, big city . Grin Grin Grin

Yea, i'm the same way .If i ever go back there .I'll just visit the small town and village.I'm tired of big city life. Too many crazy people.
