Japan Grants Aid For Better Public Transport In Vi

VIENTIANE, March 11 (Bernama) -- The Japanese government has decided to support two grant projects amounting to 576 million yen (RM21.140 million) for the Improvement of Transportation Capacity of Public Bus in Vientiane Capital and the TV programmes of the Lao National Television.

Good news. Laos want to developed. I welcome any help and support from international community. Government want Laos off the list of least developing nation by 2020 and end poverty.

Japan has been helping Laos for year with no string attach. Maybe they just want to see democracy in Laos.

Laos is opening up and will merge with ASEAN economically by 2015.
