The Wizard of Oz babe, Judy Garland didn't own a portable mobile/cell phone because they weren't around in her days, but she had a telephone like any high profile celebrities would.

Unlike today's stars, Judy Garland was a very accessible star and she always made herself available to talk to fans she knew over the phone. Sometimes her telephone conversations were recorded with Judy aware and unaware, which gives us the rare opportunity to listen to Judy Garland outside the Hollywood system.
