Would be helpful if rules and regulations in Laos are transparent.  I would estimate that water in Laos is about 80% muddy as of right now.

Probably worse in China = 95% muddy? Grin

Not sure about Laos and China's laws and regulations.  That's why I estimated them at about 80% 'muddy'.  Hopefully Laos can  become more transparent in the near future.

In future, yes, worse than China. But now it is much much better than china. Just in water sector.

It is small, too many Aus mining companies.

I would think that Aussie companies have higher safety standards than Lao or China companies.

When in Rome, we follow Roman laws. We tick off environmental friendly laws as cowboys are doing.  Grin Grin Grin

It all breaks down to
common sense
!

Go ahead and go cut a tree because we need lumbers.  If you have to, plant 3 more trees so we can use them for the future.

In front of the monument, there are many stone benches with Beeline posts. Mobile Telecom?

You can street view them.
