Land is fertile you can grow rice, vegetable and fruits all year long. That's why they call it 12,000 rice fields. Lanna is old name for Chinag Mai. Lanna million rice fields. Now so beautiful now. rice fields are replaced by banana fields fed with chemical fertilizers. But, I think you can come to have a look, to have a feel. After all, we are a big family. but, I am not Dai individual.

If you go to Shan States in Burma or Isan in Thailand they also speak Lao. About 4 million Dai, Shan in Burma and 21 million Lao in Thailand.

I also have relative in Isan.
