I mostly see Lao people throwing garbage everywhere, even out of bus windows onto the street. This is good news I guess.

Most Lao haven't really thought about the consequences of littering. I don't think it is due purely to laziness or maliciousness, they just haven't really thought about the consequences. In Luang Prabang there are waste baskets in the tourist parts of town. I think Lao people appreciate the beauty of nature and will start trying to clean up after themselves when they are more educated about this issue.

This behaviour applies to most folks living in developing nations from Asia, Africa, Latin Americas and etc... Folks in developing nations mainly consumes but do not really know how to dispose of trash yet after consumption.
