For us it was the constant sounds of gunfire everynight in the jungle.  We had to sleep in a bunker almost everynight until we had enough of Hell and then we started to swim across the Mighty River into Tahiland.

I understand 90% of what they are singing about. Lao also sing the same song and tradition. Lao was from southern China. Just did some research about 18 million Tai ethnics still live in China. autonomy region.

Tai ethnics = Lao, Shan, Tai Lue.
Tai mean free Smiley
