That's good that husband and wife stick together. In American sometime they're too selfish and like to cheat on each other. Here sometime if the husband and wife get bored of each other they just leave and find someone else.

It means I know many people in Laos who are still living together in their first and only marriage.

Whether or not their relationship is a happy one stays behind closed doors.
